Case University is a peer-to-peer platform for solving business cases from the largest consulting company belonging to The Big Three Management Consultancies. The platform brings together casers from all over the world: from the CIS countries to the Middle East and Africa, from Australia and South America to Alaska. Here, everyone can find case partners and practice with them online.
To reimagine a successful local project for an international audience.
We were faced with the difficult challenge of analysing the experience of the Case Academy project (originally called MVP), which performed well on the local market.
Based on the strengths and weaknesses we identified, we adapted the brand and scaled the project to work globally: we reimagined the identity, website, and user interface, inherited successful solutions, and added useful features.
With the name change posed another challenge: not to lose the local audience, which was used to finding the project by the Case Academy name. We thought through all the user paths in advance and prepared the necessary warning notifications, ensuring the smooth transition for users from the familiar Case Academy to the updated Case University. As a result, a substantial part of the audience has successfully migrated to the new platform.
Initial logo / Updated logo
The graphic idea for the logo was a visual image of circles on the water formed by a drop, which drop represents a strong idea that has an impact on the real world.
In addition, two gradient semicircles in the sign form a capital C.
The understated palette of the Case University brand is built on the use of blue, the signature colour.
The brand's signature gradient of blue and white is a styling element of the brand.
Abstract blue-toned 3D illustrations are an effective way to create a branded visual identity.
A website was built based on the signature style, through which users can search for partners to prepare for interviews, solve cases online, rate each other's work, and receive feedback.
